Spinning Dizzy produces conscientious children’s wear.
Our goal is to create awareness in our younger generation for sustainability and sensitive lifestyle choices.
We care about our environment and choose fabrics accordingly, such as hemp and bamboo.
We are encouraged by the following facts:
- no pesticides or herbicides are needed to grow a healthy crop
- fast growing and yielding more fibres per acre than traditional crops (250% more than cotton, 600% more than flax)
- not as much water is needed to grow
- these fibres are one of the strongest and durable (perfect for children’s wear)
- hemp has UV ray protection and an insulating quality (cool in the summer / warm in the winter)
Spinning Dizzy is locally crafted and hand dyed.
This allows us to produce a unique and sustainable line of children’s wear.
